I can't recall exactly how I found Jim's 10 or so years ago but boy I'm glad I did. The food is incredibly unfancy and so damn delicious. Great sandwiches (Italian sub FTW), outstanding breakfast and many phenomenal dinner choices. Greeted by arguably the best restaurant owner ever...he makes everyone feel special and shows his appreciation with gratitude. Top, TOP place when I'm in Boston.

Really fun dining experience. Staff are hilarious and hard working. HUGEEE portions omg. All the food was good and came out fast. Such a charming spot.

Old school cafeteria style deli with good and plentiful food and pretty quick service. The menu can be a bit overwhelming which can be good or bad depending if you like choices but newbies can hold up the line while deciding what to order. We usually go for breakfast but lunch/dinner items are solid as well. If you are looking for table service and fancy food, go elsewhere. Jim and his staff are the real deal!

Eating at Jim's is like living the good old days again. I've never once left unsatisfied or unfulfilled. The charm is quintessentially New England. This is a timeless establishment that will never be out of style - will never not be cool. Feels like home. From the good natured local patrons to the respectable hardworking staff - Jim's has it all. I will continue to come back and recommend it to anyone I know.

Good food, delicious and inexpensive but I do wish they would have waiter/ess service.

This was our second visit to Jim's. Both times the greeting was friendly and very welcoming. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by stacked rows of fresh eggs. Pretty much telling you we have great breakfast. The breakfast menu was large and creative. We both got the Jim's special wrap. 3 eggs peppers onions bacon and cheese. I got wheat wrap. Very good and filling. The home fries were intense and crisp. The coffee was very good. Last time we came we got the same feel. Warm greeting like you were a regular. We had lunch. We both had a variation of a steak and cheese. The bread was fresh and portions huge. The seats were old school cafeteria style. You slide your tray down the aisle, pay and go. But all with a smile. Food was great, the pricing was up there but the quality creativity and intangibles make this a must try.

A true gem in brighton! Great service and great place to pick up some good food for a reasonable price. Love the Rachael wrap and the Jim's style hot dog -- the flavors tied in so well and love the amount of bacon and meat in each. For the hot dog, I love how the bun held up well while carrying so much inside and that it doesn't break apart. I definitely want to come back to try some more of their options. But I was not a huge fan of their French toast -- I would not come back for this again, but would be open to see if their other breakfast options are tastier.

Love this place - great staffs, nice food Sweet potato fries: crispy outside with juicy savory taste of sweet potato inside. The best sweet potato you can ever have in MA Cheese and steak sub: Alot of veggies and protein with right amount of cheese inside. The sauce tied up so well with the rest of the ingredients. Would've been amazing if the bread was toasted but can't complain because I really love the kind service and cheerful environment:)

Jim's is a favorite spot of my co-workers and I order delivery on a pretty regular basis. They serve breakfast items all day long if that's your thing. The food is decent but the prices are sky high. I usually spend about $30 for a Western Omelette with sides of Bacon and Sausage. Delivery is usually on time and it definitely serves its purpose. The online ordering is also very easy.
